What are the common clothing fabrics

1. Cotton fabric

It refers to the fabric woven with cotton yarn or blended yarn of cotton and cotton chemical fiber.

Its advantages are good breathability, good moisture absorption and comfortable to wear;

Its disadvantage is that it is easy to shrink and wrinkle, and its appearance is not very neat and beautiful. It must be ironed frequently when wearing.

It can be divided into pure cotton products and cotton blends.

2. Hemp fabric

The pure hemp fabric woven from hemp fiber and the fabric blended or interwoven with hemp and other fibers are collectively referred to as hemp fabric.

Hemp fabric has the advantages of high strength, moisture absorption, heat conduction and excellent air permeability.

Its disadvantages are that it is not comfortable to wear, and its appearance is rough and stiff.

Hemp fabrics can be divided into pure and blended fabrics.

3. Silk fabric

It is a high-end variety of textiles.

It mainly refers to the fabrics with mulberry silk, tussah silk, rayon and synthetic fiber filament as the main raw materials.

Its advantages are light, fit, soft, smooth, breathable, colorful, glossy, noble and elegant, and comfortable to wear.

Its disadvantages are easy to wrinkle, easy to absorb, not strong enough and fast fading.

4. Wool fabric

It is a fabric made of wool, rabbit hair, camel hair and wool type chemical fiber as the main raw materials, and generally lives on wool;

It has the advantages of wrinkle resistance and wear resistance, soft feel, elegant and crisp, elastic, and strong warmth retention.

Its main disadvantage is that it is difficult to wash and is not suitable for making summer clothes.

5. Purified fiber fabric

Chemical fiber fabrics are loved by people for their high fastness, good elasticity, crisp, wear-resistant and washable, and easy storage and collection.

Purified fiber fabric is made of pure chemical fiber.

Its characteristics are determined by the characteristics of its chemical fiber itself.

Chemical fiber can be processed into a certain length according to different needs, and woven into silk-like, cotton-like, hemp-like, elastic wool-like, medium-long wool-like fabrics according to different processes.

6. Leather

It is a tanned animal fur fabric. It is mostly used for fashion and winter wear.

It can be divided into two categories:

The first is leather, that is, leather treated with wool.

The second is fur, that is, leather with leather belt hair.

Its advantages are light, warm and elegant.

Its disadvantage is that it is expensive and requires high storage and care, so it is not suitable for popularization.

7. Blending

It is a fabric made of natural fiber and chemical fiber in a certain proportion, which can be used to make various kinds of clothing.

Its strength is that it not only absorbs the advantages of cotton, hemp, silk, wool and chemical fiber, but also avoids their disadvantages as much as possible, and is relatively cheap in value, so it is very popular.

What are the characteristics of cotton cloth?

(1) It has good moisture absorption and breathability, and is comfortable to wear; (2) Soft feel, soft luster and simple; (3) Good thermal insulation and excellent wearing performance; (4) Good dyeing property, bright color, complete chromatography, but not good color fastness; (5) Alkali-resistant and acid-resistant. Concentrated alkali treatment can round the fiber section in the fabric, thus improving the luster of the fabric, that is, mercerizing (6) Good light fastness, but long-term exposure will cause fading and strength reduction; (7) Poor elasticity, easy to produce wrinkles and creases are not easy to recover; (8) Pure cotton fabric is easy to mildew and deteriorate, but it is moth-resistant.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of polyester fabric

Advantage: 1. Good elasticity, no deformation. This is also the biggest advantage of polyester fabric. Because the fiber material used in polyester fabric has very good resilience to deformation such as elongation, compression and bending, which can be said to be very close to wool. Moreover, because the rigidity of fiber macromolecular chain is relatively large, its elastic modulus is relatively high, and there will be no deformation. So polyester fabric will not find wrinkles after washing, so it is very suitable for use on curtains.

Difference between twill cloth and plain cloth

1. Different patterns: plain cloth is interwoven up and down, and the front and back are the same; Twill fabric is woven from two or three upper and lower layers. The front side is left or right twill fabric, and the back side is not twill.
